About My Out of Office

My Out of Office offers flexible administrative, marketing and accounts support for businesses of all sizes. From my 15 years’ of office-based experience in a variety of fascinating roles, my idea for ‘My Out of Office’ was born. I have seen first-hand the need for efficient office support and advice for businesses that can’t always justify an extra member of staff, but do need support on a regular, flexible or ad-hoc basis. My aim is to free up my clients’ time so they can concentrate on growing their business without wasting time on the nitty-gritty and sometimes painfully tedious tasks! My passion for business started at an early age whilst growing up in my family’s Market Garden business in Devon where I learnt a strong work and business ethic. My learning moved from A-levels to a business degree, then to roles in education both here and in Australia. Moving to London, I worked in Marketing & Communications for Teachers TV and then International Licensing at BBC Worldwide. Both roles were challenging, fast paced and gave me an amazing breadth of experience and knowledge. My most recent role was as an Account Manager at Chalk & Ward Advertising in Exeter, providing a variety of regional and national clients with marketing, advertising, design and digital services. Working with such a broad range of clients was something I really loved and I saw the positive impact that outsourcing can have on companies. My aim is to share my knowledge and experience to help your business flourish to its full potential while at the same time making your life a little bit easier!
