About My Sanctuary Counseling
Sanctuary Counseling LLC is a new agency established and operated by Dr. Christine Lang, PsyD and her partner, Dr. Roy Reese, DD, CADC serving Chicago and its suburbs. Dr. Lang has been in private practice in Chicago since 2014. She is a co-trainer for the Chicago Recovery Alliance providing training and consulting to Addictions Counselors and serves on the board as vice-president of the Ex-offender Transition Center in Chicago. Her specialty is in family and addiction counseling. She received her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Illinois, her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and attended The Chicago School of Professional Psychology for her Psy.D. Dr. Reese is a Doctor of Divinity as well as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. As a life-coach, mentor to neighborhood youth, community activist, and spiritual counselor for over 20 years. Dr. Reese’s therapeutic focus is on individual, couples and family therapy as well as anyone presently suffering from substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and bereavement. He is currently working on his PsyD.
