About My Vinyasa Practice
My Vinyasa Practice was founded in April of 2015 by Michelle Young. We've grown from only Michelle to nearly 50 employees and contractors throughout the world! Our physical studio is in Austin, Texas, but our online trainings can be accessed anywhere worldwide. My Vinyasa Practice is a values-based company founded on the principles of authenticity, accessibility, and affordability. We strive to bridge the gap between aspirational yoga and yoga for the people. We believe that all beings are born into a sentient enlightened state of awareness, and that the projections of the world cause us to forget our truth. We believe that through yoga, meditation, and the practice of mindfulness, practitioners can awaken into their natural state of being and live healthy interdependent lives in community. Our offerings reflect our values; each program, class offering, or one-on-one session comes from a place of authentic accessibility and is designed to reach the masses in an effort to uplift the collective consciousness. My Vinyasa Practice offers scholarships and community outreach programs that are designed to impact communities who may not have access to yoga and mindfulness practices. We offer Yoga Alliance Accreditated YTT programs at the 200 and 300 hour level along with an IAYT Accreditated Yoga Therapy Program.
