About My World Therapy

We are a private Paediatric Occupational Therapy practice based in Harlow, Essex. We specialise in supporting Autistic children and children with diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Developmental Coordination Disorder/Dyspraxia and Developmental Delay. Children travel to our sensory friendly and family friendly therapy practice from a large geographical area to access highly specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and follow up support. Our assessment reports: * Help parents and school staff to understand a child’s unique sensory and physical strengths and needs. * Provide easy to implement recommendations that can be put into place straight away by parents and education staff. * Provide evidence for an application for an EHCP (Education and Health Care Plan). * Provide evidence to be included in an EHCP (Education and Health Care Plan). * If highlighted through assessment, our assessment report will provide a Consultant Paediatrician with the evidence they require to consider a diagnosis of Dyspraxia/Developmental Coordination Disorder. Following the assessment, for local children (wherever possible), we offer follow up Occupational Therapy at home and school. Where this is not possible, we offer support remotely for parents and education staff. This is hugely important as there is a national shortage of Paediatric Occupational Therapists, especially those with the highly specialist skills and experience needed to support the group of children we work with. Remote support for parents and education staff provides access to a highly specialist Occupational Therapist who can help parents and education staff to implement recommendations on a daily basis.
