MYA Recruitment Solutions was started by Alex McCrae in response to the improving post recessive business conditions in Aberdeen and the surrounding area. Alex would be the first voice you may come across in dealing with MYA Recruitment Solutions, and it is his honesty and integrity that he puts on the line daily on your behalf. This is why he has focused on delivering a high quality personal service, he knows the game, and he has been on the other side of the fence both as an employer and as a recruiter as well as working in the supply side of the recruitment business. Alex has over 25 years business experience in engineering, engineering product management, supply chain management, and business development and has knowledge of the impact that people can have on a business from both the recruitment as well as training and development angles. Over the years Alex has gained significant experience in the recruitment business; initially for a major multinational oil field service company and later as a recruiter for one of this area’s premier international business recruitment agencies, again covering the oilfield service sector. Therefore he recognises the costly mistakes that can occur if a business does not have the right person in the right place at the right time. Alex has learned from his exposure to a wide range of business cultures, and understands that that bigger does not necessarily means better in recruitment business terms; he has a wish to work with a small number of cherished clients and offering a bespoke service.
