Our Story: Brewing Excellence Since 1995 Established on 29th March 1995, Myanmar Brewery Limited (MBL) began as a joint venture between Myanmar Economic Holdings Limited (MEHL) and Asia Pacific Breweries Limited (APBL). This partnership laid the foundation for a brewery rooted in Myanmar’s heritage while embracing modern brewing standards. The journey started on 8th April 1994 with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Our 13.6-hectare brewery was built in Pyinmabin Industrial Complex, Mingalardon Township, Yangon. In 1997, Fraser & Neave (F&N) Limited replaced APBL as our new joint venture partner. That same year, we proudly launched Myanmar Lager Beer, which quickly became a symbol of quality, unity, and national pride. Over the years, MBL has introduced a diverse portfolio of products to cater to evolving consumer preferences: • 2005: Adman Gold • 2015: Black Shield Stout • 2016: Myanmar Premium • 2023: Myanmar Stout In 2023, MBL marked another milestone by unveiling a refreshed corporate logo and launching a new corporate philosophy reflecting our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and integrity. These updates align with our goal of driving progress while staying true to our roots. To meet growing consumer demand, we’ve built an extensive strategic distribution network with nine logistics centers across eight locations nationwide. By 2019, our production capacity reached an all-time high of 3.2 million hectoliters, securing a market share exceeding 75%—a testament to the trust and loyalty of our customers. As an industry leader, MBL continuously evolves through innovative brewing techniques, expanding product offerings, and strengthening its corporate values.
