COMPANY OVERVIEW Mycology Research Laboratories Ltd (MRL) manufactures and markets fifteen (15) mushroom nutrition products in accordance with US, EU and UK organic standards. All finished products are certified to ISO 22000:2018 standard. MRL was founded in 1997 in the United Kingdom, with MRL-USA LLC, founded in 2001. COMPANY MISSION To establish the inherent health benefits in mushroom (fungi) nutrition. OUR PRODUCT LINE MRL mushroom (fungi) nutrition products consist of 15 different mushrooms (in single and combined) form. Presentations are in tablet (500 mg) form and in 250 g and 100 g powder form with 2 g spoons. OUR PROCESS MRL mushroom (fungi) nutrition powder contains young fruiting bodies of individual mushrooms that are cultivated into a biomass on sterile substrate. This is one of the only cultivation processes which cultivates a biomass that is free from contamination by other fungi, pesticides and heavy metals. The cultivation system is proprietary and certified, allowing for standardized production of individual mushroom nutrition products. Unlike an extracted mushroom products that may be composed of specific β-glucans, MRL biomass mushrooms provide not only β-glucans, but also enzymes and secondary metabolites. OUR CLINICAL RESEARCH WORK: MRL has published the following: A series of newsletters (15 to date since 1998) that outline to medical professionals how to prescribe mushroom nutrition. The newsletters are published under the names Mycology News and Clinical Journal of Mycology.
