New York-based wellness experts Francine Steadman of BuddhaBooth and Kristin Westbrook of Calm City partnered to introduce a new (subscription-based) self-care product line, MyndSet, as an extension of their current offerings. Having successfully provided their stress-relieving and mindfulness-based services to clients such as Johns Hopkins, Fordham University, NYC OLR, and the NYC DOE they wanted to create an easy, accessible, self-care tool that could be customized and delivered directly to one’s doorstep. MyndSet is a curated selection of self-care and mindfulness tools in a box to support mental health and wellbeing coupled with a digital library and online community. MyndSet inspires self-discovery and cultivates happiness with a combination of guided meditations, journaling, aromatherapy and other time-tested techniques designed to effortlessly build your daily mindfulness practice. Due to the demise of live experiences, and a 32% increase in stress this year, the arrival of MyndSet into the marketplace is timely as research indicates that developing mindfulness is key to successfully navigating the “new normal”. Francine and Kristin are seasoned entrepreneurs and created MyndSet understanding that the benefits of developing mindfulness practices are key to managing stress and anxiety, particularly in a world of a pandemic, and economic instability.
