Founded in 2017. Introducing a new marketplace for production staff, built by producers for producers. Whether you are a first-time filmmaker or a tenured line producer, myproducer.io is a community to find and post jobs. Our mission is to build a powerful community, unlike any that has existed in the production industry. We are driven by 3 guiding principles. 1. Breaking Down Barriers - Historically, hiring in production has been all word of mouth. It's only been perpetuated by clunky job boards that needlessly charge for many services. At myproducer.io, we provide our most valuable service, 100% free. You can post a job for 48 hours when you're in a pinch. And if you're a job seeker, applying for a job is always free. 2. Getting Fairly Compensated - Although we can't police how people are paid, we encourage and support postings that follow local, state, and federal laws. We require all postings to disclose compensation amounts. That way, there are no surprises on either side. We also let you sort job listings by compensation. 3. Production Skills Are Unique - Hiring for production is challenging. We're often looking for highly specialized skill sets. Searching for those on job boards or LinkedIn is tough. So, we're working hard to build resources to help job seekers to showcase production-specific skill sets and to help hiring mangers to search for talented people in the right ways.
