The company's movement vocabulary fuses Classical technique and adapting Voguing, House dance, and Body2Body acrobatic balancing. Transforming shape and movement that's familiar to the naked eye. The vehicle behind Mystique's choreographic style is to challenge such expressing topics that broadens the minds of others in having a different way of thinking. Creating highly structured choreography that elicits new appreciation, excitement, and understanding of the explosive combination of mind, emotion, and body. MISSION Exploring beyond the traditions of a singular style, culture, and time period, Mystique Illusions transcends the evolution of dance through reflection of the movement of our world, by the contemporary changes of everyday life. The company’s foremost innovation is to live through experimentation which permits us to think without boundaries. Exploring real life situations, fantasies, and ritualistic approaches, to create a dialogue through dance. By using live theater as a catalyst to create a genuine moment between artist and the audience. It’s our job as artists to open a gateway from reality to fantasy, which will allow the audience to face their unconscious wishes. With creation we will explore beyond our limitations that manifests into a new form.
