The N'GENIUS Series™ of High Strength Austenitic Stainless Steels is a next-generation series of Austenitic Stainless Steels that offers higher strength and vastly improved corrosion resistance compared to conventional 300 series grades. The N'GENIUS Series™ has been designed to achieve two key aims: 1) Out-perform, supersede and replace the majority of the conventional 300 series Austenitic Stainless Steels 2) Offer a genuine alternative to the use of other materials such as Duplex, Super-Duplex and nickel alloys. The N'GENIUS Series™ is a complete ‘family’ of High Strength Austenitic Stainless Steels that can be used across an unlimited range of products, markets, industries and applications. KEY ENGINEERING DESIGN FEATURES • High Mechanical Strength with excellent Ductility and Toughness • Higher Allowable Design Stresses • Superior resistance to Localised Corrosion and General Corrosion relative to conventional Austenitic Stainless Steels • Excellent Toughness at Ambient, Sub-zero and Cryogenic temperatures • Distinct minimum Pitting Resistance Equivalent values An extensive range of High Strength Austenitic Line Pipe grades have been specifically developed as part of the N’GENIUS Series™ which will enable significant utilisation in the onshore and subsea line pipe packages, pipe packages, riser pipe packages to the Oil & Gas Industry. Furthermore, the N’GENIUS H2 Series has also been developed for use in hydrogen applications.
