About Naam House Initiative, Inc

NAAM HOUSE INITIATIVE, INC., a New York-Based 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Veteran Service Organization. NHI aims to reduce suicide, homelessness and failed acclimation within the chronically ill disabled veteran population. By mitigating the circumstances that hinder veterans' ability to acclimate and function in society, we reduce suicide and recurrent homelessness; we provide the strategic foundation to succeed as a civilian with disability in today's society. We work to eliminate veteran homelessness by bringing about the awareness necessary to improve the standard of care for veterans suffering from chronic illnesses due to their service. Thus, decreasing the number of suicides within this population. NHI specializes in an individualized, multi-pronged approach to service. We operate in a small setting, coordinating services with other established Veteran Service Organizations that allow us to focus on Individual assessments and referrals in a calm environment. We are successful because we deploy strategic methods to address the needs of our Veterans. We Motivate, Educate, Direct, Coordinate, and Advocate for our veterans to successful acclimation. Currently, there is no other program like NAAM HOUSE in our industry. We have successfully rehoused 5 Veterans who are thriving independently or back at home with loved ones. NAAM House Initiative, inc. is determined to bring awareness to society that Chronic-illnesses are invisible disabilities. Yet, still, they impact veterans' lives in the same way, if not worse, than visible ones. NHI seeks to be the standard of Veteran Residential Care and service by 2025 and the leader in transitional housing by 2027.
