About Nagel

Urban Design and Landscape Architecture are key to developing high quality public realm - good design will create conditions for life and people to flourish. I create spaces that works for everyone. My projects are based on careful analysis of the place, its surroundings and uses, considering interior and exterior spaces as interlinked extensions which should be given equal attention in the design process. Increased focus on creating better urban and rural spaces will improve our quality of life and overall health. I have 14 years experience working on some of the most influential and exciting projects in Ireland, where I have lived since 2003. Originally from Denmark I bring a background in Scandinavian Design and its benefits to urban culture to every project I work on and merge it with solid knowledge of Irish opportunities and conditions. I studied architecture at Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark and Columbia University School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in New York and in my final years specialised studies within the fields of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture. I have significant experience with comprehensive designs for both large and small scale developments in urban and rural settings and have worked in architecture and landscape offices both in the US, Denmark and Ireland. Projects cover a wide range of scales in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. My clients include Developers, Architect and Landscape Architect offices as well as Local Authorities. I am a member of the Irish Landscape Institute, the Royal Irish Architects Institute and the Danish Association of Architects.
