NALP has been promoting paralegals since 1987 and is the longest running professional paralegal body in the UK NALP strives to ensure that our members are recognised as a key part of the legal profession by the quality of our qualifications and professional development. NALP's objectives: Promote and celebrate paralegals as legal services professionals in their own right Provide high quality qualifications at all levels aimed specifically at and for paralegals Engage with high quality Centres to deliver NALP qualifications across England and Wales Provide innovative and accessible assessments in order to give all learners the greatest opportunity to achieve their academic goals whilst maintaining high assessment standards Provide paralegals with meaningful membership levels that are commensurate with their qualifications Represent, promote and express the collective interests of its Members Act as a consultative body on all things concerned with the Paralegal Profession as the foremost professional membership body for Paralegals in England and Wales Work with others within the legal services sector to support public confidence in the sector as a whole What NALP does NALP advocates on behalf of its members, to the Legal Services Board, Legal Services Commission, Ministry of Justice, Skills for Justice, Solicitors Regulation Authority and The Law Society. NALP's aim is to strengthen the voice of NALP Paralegals in the legal world. Ofqual Accredited Qualifications Our Paralegal Courses are regulated and accredited by Ofqual.
