About NAMAWE

Maria Mayorga made her first soap when her partner, Colin Ward, couldn't access his usual hypoallergenic goat's milk soap during the pandemic lockdown. While locked away she started to connect with Ireland's natural abundance and see how to connect her mind and spirit with her body through organic food, local produce, and, most importantly, medicinal herbs. Already a natural forager with a deep curiosity about herbs labeled "weeds" she started with skincare as more and more people came to her with skincare problems like eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, etc. Such skin ailments are signs of a much bigger disturbance beginning in the mind and spirit. She started to see how a simple herbal cream could start a personal journey towards investigating how health is related to thoughts, and emotions. Skincare is just a part of a synergistic relationship between mind, body, and spirit. Where there is a problem nature makes a way towards a solution.
