About Nannybag
Nannybag was founded in 2017, as a way to free travelers from their luggage. The French startup was developed after Matthieu Ballester encountered a common problem while on a trip to New York City: he had to check out of his Airbnb in the morning but his flight was leaving in the evening. Not knowing where to leave his luggage to explore the city, he ended up doing so at a shop. The seed was planted: people were clearly in need of a way to store their luggage safely for a few hours or a few days, even though fewer airports and train stations provide luggage storage, due to security restrictions. Matthieu enlisted his former colleague Samir Senouci to develop Nannybag’s technological aspect. In March 2017, fundraising helped develop services in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and Australia. The multicultural team's work paid off: in three years, Nannybag became the largest luggage storage network in the world, with offices in Paris, London, Montreal, New York, and Singapore. Today, Nannybag is proud to count: over 10,000 partners partner shops, restaurants, and hotels in 40 countries and 500 cities over 1,000,000 pieces of luggage stored For 6€ per day, travelers can safely store luggage with no size or weight restrictions! Each item is stored in a locked room and insured for up to 1500€. After careful selection, shops, restaurants, and hotels can join the network for free, a great way for partners to make extra money without spending a dime! Nannybag takes great pride in collaborating with companies such as the Louvre Hotels Group, AccorHotels, Flixbus, Mail Boxes Etc, Airbnb, or RATP. In 2020, the startup raised no less than 2M€ to launch a door-to-door service and help travelers stay hands-free from A to Z. Luggage can now be collected from any address and delivered anywhere in the world. A perfect way to travel light as a feather while avoiding extra luggage fees at the airport or expensive shipping rates!
