About Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Center (NERSC)
The Nansen Center is a leading European research institution established in Bergen in 1986. Our main focus is to understand and predict changes in the marine environment and climate in the North Atlantic and Arctic. Through extensive collaboration with other national and international research communities, we contribute to solving the major societal challenges of our time. The center's research develops knowledge that forms the basis for innovative solutions to global challenges that benefit society.
