NASENT public health foundation “NASENT” (National Advocacy for Safe practices, Epidemiology and Non- discriminatory policies for Targeted Healthcare). We support and advocate for the study of how diseases and health-related events are distributed in populations and the factors that influence these distributions. We advocate for the investigation of patterns, causes, and effects of health and disease, with the goal of understanding and improving public health. We work in partnership with Epidemiologists who collect and analyze data to identify trends, risk factors, and potential interventions to prevent or control diseases and promote overall well-being in communities. We constitute a diverse group of epidemiologists, public health professionals, researchers, healthcare practitioners, policymakers, and individuals with expertise in various health-related fields united to address and promote targeted health initiatives through epidemiological research and evidence-based practices. Our vision: To promoting equitable and evidence-based healthcare practices, ensuring the well-being of diverse populations, and advocating for policies that prioritize safety and inclusivity in healthcare delivery. Our Mission: To champion and advance initiatives that foster safe healthcare practices, evidence-based epidemiology, and non-discriminatory policies, aiming to ensure equitable and accessible healthcare for all, while promoting the well-being of diverse communities. NPHF believes in equitable and accessible healthcare for all Ugandans.
