By using 3D scanning technology to obtain the most precise measurements in the creation of customized garments, Nathon Kong introduces a modern-day flair to the long-standing art of traditional tailoring. The brand is now known as a pioneer in high-end custom-made Montreal fashion. In 2017, Nathon Kong launched a new initiative by integrating original artworks inside jacket linings as a means to promote local talent and affiliated charities through their clients’ ambassadorship. The brand collaborated with organizations such as Les Impatients and MASSIVart to create unprecedented custom suits collections. Today, Nathan Kong continues to integrate the work of emerging Montreal artists in their collections, offering an innovative platform for self-expression and for supporting local talent. To wear an artist’s creation not only means endorsing and empowering emerging young talent, but also giving back to the artists and the organizations involved as part of the proceeds are donated to them. Each piece is made by hand by a local seamstress from the safety of their own home. This initiative enables vulnerable populations working from home to give them purpose and tell their stories. It also helps support the Quebec economy and promote the expertise of local artisans. Our showroom is located on the Belgo Floor in the heart of Montreal’s Quartier des spectacles. Inspired by the Forbidden City, its design was created in collaboration with painter Amélie Morency and Ædifica.
