Our Women, Empowering Our Way… The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Alliance (NATSIWA) represent over 180 women’s organisations from across Australia. NATSIWA’s unique position is in protecting and advocating the wellbeing and rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women through advanced policy processes, to effectively strength and recognise the status and rights of Indigenous women. We stand as a national advocacy organisation, consisting of Board of Director members representing various States and Territories, alongside a dedicated Leadership team. Every member of NATSIWA is a sovereign Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman, advocating and raising the voices of Indigenous women at community, local, state, territory & national levels. Through leadership and collaboration, NATSIWA identify issues, research solutions and educate government service providers to achieve effective policy.
