Operations began in July 1910 at our current site in Ragland, and the plant has served as a key supplier for regional infrastructure and development ever since. In 1974, National Cement became part of the Vicat Group of France, a global leader in cement manufacturing with a long-standing commitment to innovation, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence. Today, the Ragland plant supplies a diverse customer base across Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida. Cement is shipped via truck and rail from Ragland and through a growing network of distribution terminals located in Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. Our experienced territory managers are strategically located throughout the Southeast to provide prompt service, technical support, and reliable delivery.
