The National Center for Outdoor & Adventure Education (NCOAE) is the values-based outdoor adventure and education provider for teens and adults interested in personal growth and professional development. By teaching a core curriculum that emphasis teamwork, environmental stewardship and the acquisition of technical skills, we help people improve their self confidence and interpersonal relationships. We believe the outdoors is a place where abilities are transformed, close friendships are established and a unique quest for discovery is fostered. As a result, NCOAE – a nonprofit organization – is fueled by adventure but grounded in timeless values. Our programs are built on the pillars of adventure education. Our instructors teach outdoor, human and educational skills in order to cultivate dynamic lifelong learning. And our students and course participants leave with lasting friendships, proud moments, unforgettable memories, and enriched leadership, outdoor and interpersonal skills. We’re also fiercely dedicated to celebrating wilderness adventures and approach all aspects of our courses from an empowering model – one that gives participants a real opportunity to shine. As such, we utilize outdoor and adventure-based experiences to foster pride and esteem. Our seamless adventures are challenging but ultimately leave students and course participants feeling proud and free to strive for great things.
