For many years the National Chamber of Commerce has sold memberships across the nation. In September of 2008 the chamber adopted a new business plan which included establishing local chapters across the nation. The impressive difference between the "National Chamber local chapters" and regular local chambers is that the National Chamber has affiliated with many national sponsors who pay for the membership fees of the small business owners... so that they receive their membership free! Where we sit now is that we have approximately 30 cities across the nation which have a local chapter of the National Chamber of Commerce. We expect that by the end of this year that number will be in the hundreds. This is in fact an amazing opportunity for someone who would like to establish a local chapter and for all the businessmen in that area who will now have an organization they can belong to for free which will help them in their business and their income.
