About National Consortium of Academic Nurse Educators
The National Consortium of Academic Nurse Educators (NC-ANE) is an organization which represents a diverse group of nurse educators from all over the United States. The NC-ANE has a defined and approved by-law which was created by the founding members, an elected board of directors, and seven standing committees such as by-laws, governance, membership, finance, research, and ways and means to guide the activities of the organization to achieve its mission and vision. MISSION To advocate for academic nurse educators as advanced practice nurses, who are competent in their specialty, through research endeavors and collaboration with other professional organizations and partnerships with various stakeholders. VISION To strengthen partnerships by academic nurse educators with various stakeholders and consumers of health to elevate their status relative to equitable workload, compensation, benefits, recognition of teaching, scholarship, and service.
