About National Institute of Occupational Health
The National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH) is the national research institute in Norway in the field of work environment and occupational health. The Norwegian name of the NIOH is Statens arbeidsmiljøinstitutt (STAMI). The NIOH is a scientifically independent department of government organized under the Ministry of labour and social affaires, and is a scientific and strategic advisor for the Labour inspection authority and the Petroleum safety autorithy.
