The National Mango Board (NMB) is a national industry funded agriculture promotion group that focuses on promotion and research for U.S. and imported fresh mangos. Our mission is to increase consumption of fresh mangos in the U.S. by inspiring consumers and educating them about the culture, flavor, and nutrition of mangos, while bringing the industry together. The NMB is guided by Board Members made up of industry leaders; 8 Importers, 7 Foreign Producers, 2 Domestic Producers and 1 First-handler. Board Members serve three-year terms and can be nominated for two concurrent terms. The Board Members create the Strategic Plan, approve yearly budgets and are hands-on in the creation of programs; all addressing our mission of increasing the awareness and consumption of fresh mangos in the U.S. *********************************************************************************************************************** La National Mango Board (NMB) es un grupo de promoción e investigación agrícola enfocado en mango fresco nacional e importado. Nuestra misión es incrementar el consumo de mango fresco en los Estados Unidos inspirando a los consumidores y educándolos sobre la cultura, el sabor, y la nutrición del mango, a la vez que unimos a la industria. La NMB está guiada por miembros del consejo constituida por líderes de la industria; 8 Importadores, 7 Productores Extranjeros, 2 Productores Nacionales y 1 Primer Gestor. Los miembros del consejo sirven por un periodo de tres años y pueden ser nominados para dos periodos consecutivos. Los miembros del consejo crean el plan estratégico, aprueban el presupuesto anual y son parte de la creación de programas; todo esto manteniendo presente nuestra misión de incrementar conciencia y consumo de mangos frescos en los Estados Unidos.
