Our mission is to empower service members and their families by strengthening the capacity of self-advocacy through education. Since the height of the military housing crisis in 2019, our volunteers - comprised of veterans, service members, and military spouses - have worked tirelessly to conduct research and to provide direct one-on-one, in-person support at the installation level to assist families in crisis who seek an avenue to turn to without fear of reprisal. Our combined approach uniquely positions us to provide insightful feedback and recommendations vital to advancing changes in legislation to help solve the ongoing issues the military community is faced with. Safe, habitable housing is a fundamental human right that we intend to continue to fight for, until they all come home to a safe home.
