National Physiatry provides physicians specializing in rehab (physiatrists) to skilled nursing & rehab centers at no cost to the centers, including telehealth equipment if needed. Our physiatrists work in a consulting or co-treating physician role supporting the medical director and primary care physicians; nursing, therapy, and administrative teams to achieve the highest quality care and functional outcomes, reduced rehospitalizations, and overall rehab effectiveness. We employ our physiatrists and handle all the business and administrative responsibilities so they can focus on practicing their specialty—providing quality medical care to increasingly high-acuity, post-acute care patients—free from these additional responsibilities. Keeping up with constantly changing regulations and providing medical documentation, reporting and proprietary compliance, physiatrists also improve communication between teams, administration and families.
