About National Training Network (NTN)

National Training Network (NTN) is a professional development company specializing in training, on-going coaching, and support to mathematics teachers of emerging learners in grade 3 through algebra. NTN utilizes its “Seven Levels of Professional Development” to help teachers acquire proven methodologies and develop and deepen students’ understanding of essential mathematics concepts, as well as the understanding and infusion of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). The mission of NTN is to raise the achievement, confidence and grades of formerly lower performing students in mathematics by changing the instructional methodology by digging deeper into the “why” and the instructional materials used in mathematics classrooms in the districts we serve. A team of NTN staff partner with a team of Local Education Agency staff to create a comprehensive resilient plan emphasizing the integration of the CCSS – Standards for Mathematical Practice to improve mathematics instruction. On-going professional development is provided through training, concept-based lessons, job-embedded coaching, instructional walk-throughs, professional learning communities, technology, and leadership academies. Districts with whom we partner will see professional growth within their math teachers and academic growth among their emerging math students.
