Native Finance partners with businesses, tribes, and organizations to provide culturally relevant financial education and resources. Mission: Our mission is to equitably promote the financial development of tribal enterprises and residents, in and beyond San Diego county, by pooling the assets and resources of tribal communities to directly develop their financial infrastructure and generate tremendous economic opportunities for entire communities. About As a tribal nonprofit institution organized under IRC §501(c)(3), EIN 83-1499750, we are led by a group of tribal leaders and financial professionals who envision the development of banking infrastructure as the surest means of preserving and evolving f sustainable development on reservations. As money moves through the tribal economy, doors begin to open for jobs, home ownership, and business development. Our development programs include financial coaching, banking practice, and investing activities. Through them, we aim to clarify underpinning economic challenges afflicting community members, observe and address gaps in both financial knowledge and practice, and ideate potential solutions to financial inequities within Native communities. Our current goal is to develop, test and launch a prototype community development bank, established to specifically serve Native communities, that simultaneously utilizes the convenience of modern banking and technology together with the security and strength of tribal community and kinship ties through personalized and collaborative curricula and practice.
