NATSO represents over 1,350 travel centers and truck stops nationwide, owned by more than 200 corporate entities, and pursues a clear mission: to advance the success of truck stop and travel center members. Since 1960, NATSO has dedicated itself to the needs of truck stops, travel centers and their suppliers by serving as America's official source of information on the diverse industry. NATSO also acts as the voice of the industry on Capitol Hill and at regulatory agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Labor and the Department of Energy. In addition, NATSO conducts the industry's only national convention and exposition. The NATSO Foundation is the research, education, and public outreach arm of the travel center and truck stop industry.
