The Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) was established in 1988 by a group of massage therapy graduates who were passionate about holistic health care. Since those beginnings, we have grown to support over 6,500 holistic health practitioners across Canada. We offer nation-wide liability insurance, discounted continuing education, a welcoming community to our members, and many more benefits. We recognize and insure more than 60 holistic health practices, including: - massage therapy - Thai massage - reflexology - shiatsu - reiki - craniosacral therapy - yoga instruction - Pilates instruction - myofascial cupping We further support our members' professional practices with services such as: - advice on business best practices and industry standards - relationship building with suppliers to get member discounts on products and services - advocacy for holistic health professionals to the health benefits industry and all levels of government - increasing public awareness of holistic health care through a regular holistic health blog and an active social media presence
