About Naturopathic Family Health
Naturopathic Family Health serves both children and adults by using conventional medical knowledge, coupled with a safe, efficient and effective naturopathic approach and therapies. The focus is on you—body, mind and spirit, and so the approach is comprehensive. Dr. Jewell-Larsen draws on many resources to address health issues, including the most recent research, extensive naturopathic medical training, traditional medicines, and conventional medical practitioners when needed to ensure your treatment is complete. Dr. Jewell-Larsen received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington and holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Victoria, Canada. She completed additional clinical training at Puget Sound Birth Center, Seattle Children's Hospital, Lake Forest Park Senior Center, Group Health Cooperative, as well as completing advanced course work in pediatrics, gynecology and clinical nutrition. Upon completing her medical training, Dr. Jewell-Larsen spent two years working with Dr. Renee Young at the Young Naturopathic Center for Wellness in Los Gatos, California. She is currently working on creating a new practice, Naturopathic Family Health, which will be accepting patients beginning January, 2011.
