About Nautical Archaeology Society

The NAS was formed to further interest in our underwater cultural heritage. We are dedicated to advancing education in nautical archaeology at all levels from the general public to professionals in the sector. To this end we: run an accredited training programme, publish a peer-reviewed journal; organise fieldwork and an annual conference to assist our members in improving their skills in recording, conservation and reporting of archaeology.
