Nautilus Engineers was formed in 2002 as a direct result of the growing demand in South Africa (from small to medium size fabricators and engineering plants) for a capable yet cost-effective and flexible mechanical design consultant. Nautilus Engineers is a proud supporter of professional skills development and technological advancement. We believe in empowering young candidates and students in the engineering field by providing the knowledge and experience needed to excel in their careers. Our mission is to contribute to the growth of South Africa’s engineering sector by providing affordable engineering solutions whilst developing the skill levels and expertise of all our employees and interns. To further promote education and development, as part of our social responsibility, Nautilus Engineers pays the school fees of one less fortunate child every year. Nautilus Engineers is a small but dynamic team that prides itself on its hands-on and service-orientated approach. We provide soundly engineered solutions, together with prompt reliable service at a cost well below that of the large consulting firms. We use state-of-the-art design and CAD software to complement our in-house expertise. Nautilus has an extensive digital and regular technical library, containing up-to-date international standards (American; British; European and South African) and technical literature by leading authorities.
