About Navalria

Navalria is a shipyard specialising in the construction, repair and conversion of ships and vessels. With over 45 years of activity, the company has undergone several phases of significant market changes, having managed to survive the most diverse difficulties and adversities of the environment and, more specifically, of its sector of activity, the shipbuilding industry. As a result, the company has established itself as a unit of strategic interest for the region where it is located – Aveiro – by maintaining the recognition of its customers. Part of the Martifer Group since January 2008, Navalria has been changing management paradigms, now governing itself by fundamental priorities for the continuity of any organisation: - A commitment to the development, retention and appreciation of people, with motivated and qualified staff, in order to achieve high levels of productivity, and; - The quality of services provided to customers, for sustainable value creation, with tailor-made products and services, and the goal of exceeding their expectations, while respecting safety and social responsibility rules. After many years exclusively engaged in ship repair, since 2009 Navalria has been complementing its repair activity with the construction and conversion/modernisation of ships and recreational, merchant, fishing and military vessels. It currently has several iconic constructions in its portfolio and is one of the leading shipyards in Portugal. The capacity demonstrated in all projects, combined with the flexibility of intra-group partnerships with Martifer and WestSea, has contributed to gaining the trust of our customers and ensuring the continuity and expansion of the shipbuilding business.
