About NBRPA-Houston Chapter
The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA), also known as the Legends of Basketball, was founded in 1992 by basketball legends Dave DeBusschere, Dave Bing, Archie Clark, Dave Cowens, and Oscar Robertson. The NBRPA's Houston Chapter is a subset of the NBRPA National Organization (but an independently registered 501c3 organization). The national organization is currently headquartered in Chicago, IL. The NBRPA - Houston Chapter comprises of former professional basketball players committed to developing and utilizing their community stature to support and participate in socially responsible initiatives that focus on, but are not limited to, education, health and children's causes. The mission of the NBRPA-Houston Chapter is to create mentoring opportunities that have positive and lasting impact on our youth and in our community.
