About the NC Triad Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure The NC Triad Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, along with those who generously support us with their talent, time and resources, is working to better the lives of those facing breast cancer in our community. Through events like the Komen NC Triad Race for the Cure, we have invested more than $3 million in local breast health and breast cancer education, screening and treatment projects in Forsyth, Guilford, Davie, Yadkin, Stokes, Davidson, Surry, Randolph, Wilkes and Alamance counties. The Affiliate has contributed more than $750,000 to research, through the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure Grants Program for energizing science to find the cures.
