About NCMA MetroMD

The Metro Maryland (MetroMD) Chapter of The National Contract Management Association is committed to furthering NCMA’s mission to educate the profession and broader government contracting community and foster the exchange of innovative ideas. MetroMD’s mission is to expand the reach and impact of the NCMA east of the Potomac River. Specifically, the MetroMD chapter proposes to fill a gap in the region by having an NCMA chapter that serves Prince George’s County and the surrounding area (i.e. Charles County and Southern Anne Arundel County). The Chapter’s founding leadership’s vision is to provide a convenient and welcoming NCMA hub in their local community and provide local community members access to the numerous benefits of the organization. The MetroMD area represents more than a quarter of the region’s federal workforce. This new chapter provides an opportunity for members to invest in their local community. Our goal is for it to be a neutral and welcoming environment where these professionals can become NCMA members and then grow personally and professionally through training, mentoring and by expanding their network within the local and greater NCMA communities.
