Ndoyenk Technology (Pty) Ltd provides solutions to small/medium-sized plants that valorise end-of-life, biomass and polymeric resources for chemical, energy and materials recovery. Green innovative solutions span from biological, chemical and thermochemical conversion processes. The biological processes entail the conversion of food waste and animal dung to biogas and fertiliser suitable for household and small and medium applications. Ndoyenk Technology has also developed mobile anaerobic digesters ideal for scientific research at various education and research institution. The designs are simplified to train the small starter farmers and conduct experiments for their waste management. Chemical processes are mainly suitable for small informal traders from the townships. Since the main business of informal township traders is fast food, used cooking oil and other waste streams are generated at a high rate. Little is known about the environmental effects of illegal and improper waste stream disposal. Ndoyenk Technology has developed customised solutions for the township and rural community to valorise these waste streams for various valuable products, energy and materials. Thermochemical conversion processes are currently in development. The notoriety of thermochemical processes as high energy input has rendered from their development and global acceptance. Ndoyenk Technology is currently developing alternative energy resources that can power thermochemical processes since they are suitable for non-biodegradable end-of-life polymers. The advantage of thermochemical conversion resources is the rapid production of three fractions and suitability for all types of materials. Ndoyenk Technology has found a gap in developing innovative solutions for households and small/medium farms. The design and fabrication of plants are suitable for small to medium operations.
