About Neat

Neat is an architectural and interior design studio. We are inspired by design thinking from around the world we find opportunities in constraints, responding with neat and creative solutions, often in complex locations, that work intelligently. We work across the UK and Europe on projects that range from masterplans to private houses, from commercial and mixed use schemes to cultural projects, including close collaboration with artists. We are open and hardworking, forming relationships based on clarity and trust. As the founder of Neat Gordon leads the creative direction of the studio bringing the benefit of his experience from nearly 25 years of practice across a spectrum of building types, design disciplines and locations around the world. Prior to forming Neat, Gordon was a design director at Pringle Richards Sharratt Architects where he lead the design teams that completed a hugely varied range of projects including Workspace’s flagship collaborative workspace at Great Guildford Street in London, the office interiors across all 24 floors of the Shard, and number of exclusive private residences in Belgravia, the Alps and Kent. Gordon completed his architectural training at the Architectural Association in London, and prior to that studied at Bath University, the American Universty in Cairo and Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. Before returning to London, Gordon worked in Brunei on a diverse range of projects including a private hospital and stables for 200 hundred polo horses.
