Needle in a Haystack was founded as a result of the founders own professional and personal experience in the job market. They could see that there was a gaping great hole in the New Zealand job market – between job seekers and employers. Job Seekers need practical, effective and innovative assistances in the task of finding the right job… and Employers, who despite advertising widely and at great expense, were frustrated at being unable to appoint the right candidate, time and time again. The closest solution they found to the problem, were careers consultants. These professionals can help narrow down the search field for you, but they won’t generally go on the journey with you – i.e. to the point where you successfully sign an employment contract with your new employer.
