About NEEDS Center

Who We Are: Founded in 2012, The NEEDS Center’s mission is to provide education, training and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to assist them to live as independently as possible. Our philosophy is rooted in the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Positive Behavior Support (PBS). These supports allow individuals to become as independent as they can be. What We Offer: The NEEDS Center proudly supports individuals across Massachusetts and Florida with 32 residences and 5 day programs, providing essential services that promote independence and community inclusion. Day Services: Day services at The NEEDS Center offer people we support a ready-made peer community. The focus of our services include volunteer activities, social skills training, community integration, communication skills, development, supported employment, and training behavior management....and more. Activities and environments are designed to foster greater independence, relationship building, self-advocacy and informed choice. Residential Services: The NEEDS Center offers the people we support the opportunity to live as independently as possible in the community. Our residences are person-centered, with a focus on communication skills, social skills, relationship-building, community inclusion, development of leisure skills, prevention-focused behavior support, travel....and more.
