About Neighborhood Health Center
Our Mission Neighborhood Health Center’s mission is to promote health and wellness through access and affordability for all members of our community, especially those who need us most. We are a nonprofit organization striving for high-quality care and patient satisfaction through a professional, integrated, team approach. With our affordable options, we aim to create access that promotes prevention and continuity of care. NHSC NHC is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. NHSC is a US government-sponsored body which is part of the US Department of Health and Human Services, division of Health Resources and Services Administration, Bureau of Clinician Recruitment and Service, which provides scholarships and loan repayment for service in areas needing primary care providers. FQHC FQHCs are federally funded nonprofit health centers or clinics that serve medically underserved areas and populations. Federally qualified health centers provide primary care services regardless of your ability to pay. Services are provided on a sliding fee scale based on your ability to pay.
