About Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors
Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors (N3) helps our neighbors in Collin, Denton, and Grayson counties in North Texas fight food insecurity, increase self-sufficiency, reduce generational poverty, and promote the value of nutrition. N3 food pantry was established in the 1980s by a group of compassionate women attending Prosper Texas' United Methodist Church. Its original mission was to address the needs of children, elderly and disadvantaged residents in the community and the migrant workers from the local agriculture operations. Today, we continue to serve the same community and have grown to include 3 counties in North Texas. In 2012, we incorporated and became a 501c3. In 2022, we moved into our 3,000 SQFT warehouse. We provide core non-perishable food items to support a healthy lifestyle. We can now serve perishable food items, which we store in a walk-in refrigerator/freezer. Distribution includes formula, and hygiene products as well. Today, we serve over 7,500 households and over 15,000 individuals annually. We are an official agent partner of the North Texas Food Bank and its association with Feeding America.
