About Neoangels Charity

Neoangels was set up in 2015 by parents Kirsty and Shaun Lowther, who after spending time on the Neonatal Unit at North Tees hospital saw many families struggling to cope both emotionally and financially during their neonatal journey’s. Since 2015 Neoangels has raised over £220,000 to support the Neonatal Units at North Tees and James Cook Hospitals and their families. Neoangels supports families by contributing towards travel expense and parking costs, offering daily hospital canteen vouchers and issuing emergency toiletry kits. The charity also provides families with emotional care providing milestone journals and cards. We are very proud to fund a specialised neonatal playgroup. All our services are delivered in direct partnership with the amazing NHS neonatal staff on the unit. Neoangels also fundraises to directly support the Neonatal Units with donations of specialised medical equipment to help them provide the best care. Contributions so far have included incubators, hot cots, stethoscopes, breast pumps, and breast-feeding chairs. Having a premature or poorly baby in neonatal care is incredibly tough. As a small charity we are passionate about making a real difference but to do this we need your help.
