About Neon Performing Arts

Neon Performing Arts is a social enterprise and not-for-profit company founded in 2013 by international dancer and choreographer - Emanuela Pagliei - and international singer, songwriter and musician - Delroy Blake. We believe in today’s youth and their untapped talent. We’re here to provide opportunities to young creatives who wouldn’t have had them otherwise. Neon offers classes in ballet, modern jazz, contemporary and hip hop (amongst many other genres of dance) as well as singing and drama classes for children aged 4-18 years old. Our programme is rooted in the combined arts, giving students the opportunity to learn without boundaries, in innovative and experimental ways. We offer a broad range of classes to suit the aspirations of each student. Neon also runs a fully funded youth company - NeonELEVATE - which was launched in Autumn 2020 as a prototype for a youth company through funding from Lambeth ELEVATE. This groundbreaking project provides a platform for young Lambeth talents; building on 8 years of partnership work with artists and arts organisations. The innovative theatre-making youth company seeks to develop original and cutting-edge creative work; whilst giving ownership to and nurturing the skills/talents of young creatives aged 13-25 years olds. NeonELEVATE aims to empower the next generation of creatives, overcome barriers, and achieve a more inclusive and representative creative sector at all levels.
