About Neptune Aquatics (Social Enterprise)
Neptune Aquatic Solutions was formed in 2013 as a social enterprise, after hiring the St.Nicholas School’s Hydrotherapy Pool, Chippenham to run our swimming lessons and hydrotherapy sessions. The school was losing money on the pool and was looking at options to keep the pool open to the public use. Working with the School with developed our management model and took over the operations of the hydrotherapy pool. Over the last 7 years, we have operated the hydrotherapy pool, we have helped hundreds of people gain access to hydrotherapy. We have been so successful that we have opened 2 further hydrotherapy pools in the South West of England. Wyvern Hydrotherapy Pool, Weymouth, and Stourview Hydrotherapy Pool Sturminster Newton. Both these pools were on the verge of closure or had already closed. These hydrotherapy pools have been brought back to full operation by Neptune Aquatic Solutions. We have seen through our years of work the incredible, life-changing results that access to hydrotherapy can provide all walks of life. Not just patients who are in the rehabilitation phase of their recovery, but children with disabilities such as autism, clients who are plagued with pain from fibromyalgia, axial SpA (AS) and elderly clients who find access to traditional facilities impossible to negotiate.
