About Neuro Rehab Group (NRG)

The Neuro Rehab Group (NRG) is a collaboration of four successful therapy companies with a shared vision and core values. We are able offer Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy to children and adults throughout the Midlands and North West. Our vision is to provide highly specialised, yet cost effective, interdisciplinary assessment and rehabilitation to people of all ages who have sustained a brain injury. Driven by our client’s goals, we will clearly demonstrate progress over an agreed timescale. What makes us different? We each have our own independent therapy companies and will remain completely independent from one another and retain our own autonomy. However, we value and respect one another's approach and for that reason we have come together to offer client's access to an Interdisciplinary Team. Why is the approach we take different? We believe in functional goals which are set in collaboration with the client and their families. Functional goals are meaningful and once completed the client has a sense of achievement and can reflect on their success. Functional goals are individual and set by the clients but some examples might be giving a speech at their daughter's wedding, learning to ride a bike again or walking into their classroom at college. NRG therapists identify the barriers stopping the client's achieving their goals and work with the client and those around them to overcome these barriers. In addition to direct work with the client we also believe in working with the system around the client. We offer education and training with the aim of enabling all those working with the client to have the skills and knowledge to support the client in achieving their goals.
