About Neurobotics

Neurobotics, LLC is a Health & Wellness technology start-up company currently operating out of the greater NYC area. Our team and partners hail from a diverse set of backgrounds, including robotics engineering, software development, and sports performance technologies. After spending years of conducting focused research studies on healthy athletes, we created Neurobotics LLC out of an attempt to open up “dormant” and “inactive” neural networks in the brain from a non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical motor-muscular route. As humans are creatures of habit in the way we live, think and move, the goal was to facilitate the connective process of the body through the brain that is not so easily achieved from a conscious or voluntary state. Why would we want to open up neural pathways in the brain? The brain works in a paradoxical manner. In its voluntary, conscious state, it readily prefers repetition or traversing neural networks most often used or of least resistance. These are the “familiar” pathways. However, from a learning or neuro-plastic perspective, the brain, more often than not, becomes increasingly resistant to adaptation as a result of repetitious movement, and of course age. It is difficult to get the brain to traverse other internal parts or the “unfamiliar” pathways unless forced to do so by new experiences and circumstances occurring outside of our immediate control and conscious effort. How do we plan to achieve this? Neurobotics is developing "non-invasive" robotics applications to potentially be used toward enabling untapped neuro motor-muscular networks in the brain. By pairing our aesthetically designed robotics interface with fully immersive interactive gaming concepts, we aim to systematically tackle, and one day solve, complex hand-eye coordination challenges stemming from acute, and chronic brain trauma.
